Stayed at the apartment with great city views and free parking. Free WiFi was a bonus, I mean, who doesn't love to keep posting pictures of their fancy accommodations online?

Oh, and how could I forget the amazing mountain views? Absolutely dreadful.

We had an absolutely fantastic xmas stay here! The views of the harbor from both balconies were breathtaking, and the apartment was so comfortable and well-equipped. The hosts were incredibly helpful and provided us with lots of information about the local area. The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk to the old town and all the restaurants, shops, and the farmers market. And for lazy days, the Barreirinha lido complex was only 10 minutes away!

That there weren't many English speaking channels on the TV. But honestly, with everything else this apartment had to offer, it was a minor inconvenience.

Stayed at this apartment with city and mountain views, had free WiFi and private parking. It's so nice to have a view of the city from the comfort of my own room while my car is safely parked nearby.

Oh, I really missed having a noisy neighbor to keep me company. So disappointing.

The apartment had lovely views of the sea and the harbor from both balconies. It was spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and two bathrooms. The kitchen was excellent and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to the old quarter of the city and just a short walk from the farmers market and a variety of excellent restaurants. The secure car parking was a bonus, and the apartment was also conveniently located for visiting the Orchid garden at Boa Vista.

I always stay at this fantastic place in Funchal. They helped me find a lost bracelet. Perfect for me, with Wi-Fi, parking, kettle, TV. Coming back for Christmas!

We absolutely loved our stay at Shearwaternest 2 Apartment in Funchal! the apartment had all the facilities we needed and more, including soft and good pillows, a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. the welcome from Gusto and Phillipa was excellent, and we were greeted with beautiful flowers for our entire stay. the sea views from the apartment were the best we've had in 20 years of visiting Funchal. the sitting room with its floor-to-ceiling sliding doors was a highlight, providing plenty of light, stunning views, and fresh warm air. We also enjoyed having balconies both upstairs and downstairs. the two bathrooms upstairs with bidets were a great convenience, and the kitchen allowed us to easily prepare our own meals.

The value for money was excellent. The room was clean and spacious, with great views of the sea from the balconies. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, shops, and the cable car to Monte. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.

The hotel breakfast menu could use more variety.

The Shearwaternest 2 Apartment in Funchal was the perfect choice for our holiday in Madeira. The owners, Gustavo and his wife, were incredibly friendly and organized. The location of the apartment was excellent, with shops, restaurants, and the cable car to Monte all within a 5-10 minute walk. The cleanliness and kitchen equipment provided were top-notch, and the apartment had all the amenities we needed. it was a fantastic choice for our stay in Madeira.

We felt very at home at the Shearwaternest 2 Apartment and had no complaints whatsoever.
